(Gernika-Lumo / Bermeo / Gaztelugatxe)

This guided tour is the best option to get to know the Urbaibai region, which is famous for having been declared a Biosphere Reserve in 1984 and also for the small towns that make it up. Urdaibai offers the visitor some of the best-known monuments in Bizkaia. The tour begins with a visit to Gernika-Lumo, known for its monuments such as the Casa de Juntas, the Gernika Tree –which was the meeting place of the General Councils of Bizkaia–, and the Peace Museum that looks back on the bombing of Gernika. We then continue to discover Bermeo, a historic fishing village whose medieval complex preserves its original blueprint and part of the wall. To end the daytrip, we do a panoramic visit of the coastal cliffs and reach the viewpoint of the hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe.
